Join us this coming Tuesday for our regular member meeting, featuring guest speaker Sandra Shore. We’ll also be receiving nominations for 2027 Executive Committee positions, receiving sale and workshop updates, and more!

About our speaker:

Landrum professor Sandra Shore is obsessed with porcelain and for years made functional ceramics thrown on the potter’s wheel.  Her current practice focuses on porcelain as a material that can be manipulated and formed by multiple processes: wheel throwing, hand building, and slip casting.  This recent work allows her porcelain forms to interact with thrifted functional antiques, making for for a very free and energetic studio practice.
